Join Goose baristo Stew to learn how to brew kombucha and jun at home — enjoy a guided tasting with over half a dozen varieties and take home everything you need to make your own brews. Stew says, “Jun is like the Champagne of Kombucha, and we’ll showcase the techniques, health benefits, flavor profiles, and more of both beverages.”
As Stew leads this tasting of three different kombucha and three different jun, he also demonstrates the step-by-step processes starting from scratch along with key insights into techniques, ingredient options, health benefits, flavor additions, equipment, storage, and more. Guests leave class with all the info and experience (as well as ingredients and equipment!) you need to brew your own kombucha and jun at home.
Along with Goose’s seasonal cheese + charcuterie board with paired accompaniments to enjoy during class, each guest gets to take home:
one-gallon wide mouth jar
cheesecloth/non-bleached filter and twine
two bottles of raw kombucha to start your own scoby
local loose leaf tea for your starter
cane sugar/raw honey for your first batch
one gallon filtered water
optional accoutrements to flavor your batches (like fruits, herbs, roots, etc.)
One ticket required for each person.
