Now Hiring: Event Manager

Goose is now accepting applications for an Event Manager to oversee current events and develop new programs.

Events at Goose focus on great food + drink and highlight unique experiences for guests. These events range from free tastings that are open to the public to private dinners with table-side service and much more. 

While the current schedule includes about 1-3 events per week, Goose is looking to the new Events Manager to significantly grow the programming and reservation schedule. Success in the position will be evaluated by the traffic and sales generated by existing events as well as the development and execution of new tastings, lunches and dinners, private reservations, and other events. 

The ideal candidate has excellent organization and communication skills and is a team player, able to work well with Goose's purchasing staff to help facilitate product samples, producer visits, and more. S/He must be proactive, able to work independently, and be a people person who enjoys hosting, interacting with guests, and creating memorable experiences. Applicants who have worked in event coordination, catering, and front-of-the-house restaurant positions are encouraged to apply. 

This hourly position includes gratuities and perks. The goal of this position is to build Goose event management into a full-time gig.
